How it works
Three routes to the same standard of care.
The route is a question of geography and of what the visit needs to involve. The clinical standard does not change between them.
The online clinic
Residents of every U.S. state and the District of Columbia can join the online clinic. A specific test or treatment can still have its own state limits, and we show any limit that applies in your state before you pay for it.
Joining the online clinic registers you with an Aethera medical team. When your results come back they are already in the system, and a clinician reviews them with you and talks through your options. You do not have to go and find someone to interpret them, and you are not handed a PDF and left there.
What online cannot do. A clinician cannot examine you through a screen, and some medications cannot be prescribed without an in-person visit in some states. Where that applies to you, we will say so before you pay, and the concierge route or a referral is the answer.
Concierge visits
Concierge visits are available in 48 states. We do not offer concierge care in Massachusetts or New York. The online clinic is open in both.
A concierge visit is a licensed clinician coming to you — at home, at your office, or at a hotel if you are travelling. It covers the things a screen cannot: the blood draw, the physical exam, the injection or infusion, the measurements that need hands on them.
Why not Massachusetts or New York
Both states regulate how a medical practice may be owned and run more tightly than the rest of the country. Building a concierge operation that meets those rules properly takes a different corporate structure than the one we run elsewhere, and we would rather not operate there than operate there badly. The online clinic is open in both states, and it is the same clinicians.
Clinics
No Aethera clinic is open yet. Three are in development in Nashville, Miami and Madison, Wisconsin, and a fourth is planned for Bogotá in early 2027. We will say so plainly here the day one opens, and not before.
A clinic adds what neither of the other routes can carry to you: imaging on site, infusion suites, procedure rooms, and the performance floor.
What it costs, and how you pay
We are cash-pay. We do not bill insurance, and no federal healthcare program money is involved in anything we do.
Many of our services can be paid for with an HSA or FSA card, and some cannot. Eligibility is set by IRS rules and decided by your plan administrator, not by us. Cosmetic treatments are specifically excluded. We mark each service with what we understand its status to be, we give you an itemised receipt with the codes your administrator needs, and we will write a Letter of Medical Necessity where one genuinely applies.
Nothing on this site is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a promise of a result. Talk to a licensed clinician about your own situation before starting anything.
